We are so pleased that you have visited our site. You will notice that we have brought together a wide variety of information that is intended to help our friends remain connected both to us and to the process that surrounds us. In doing so, we have chosen to link to other sites and, in certain cases, we have used other sources to create summarized information that we believe will be helpful in a more edited and curated form. Wherever possible, we have provided citations and do not intend for any of this to be construed as original work when addressing medical or scientific issues. Our focus has been to deliver reliable sources of background on ALS, in consultation with Deb's medical team, and we hope this makes our journey more understandable to our family and friends and makes our time together less focused on technical issues and more focused on living and loving.

All of this is intended for friends and family members to whom we grant site access. We are in a vulnerable time for our family, and we would ask our community members to understand both our desire to remain connected to our wider network of friends while also working with us to maintain a level of privacy that is not isolating. Our greatest hope at this time is that we can be completely honest and open without being a spectacle or source of pity. Please walk with us as we travel a road for which we have no map, only our faith, family, and friends to guide us.
